Before and After

Before and AfterYou
They all come by, one by one
Before and after you were gone
They asked???! I said NO.
I needed all , but wanted none.
The sun shone, the moon had wept
my heart ached, but it kept
going on and on and on
Before and after you were gone.
My heart hated its own races
My eyes had glistened in many places
I was off before I was done,
Before and after you were gone.
I flew a thousand miles above
I swam in lakes like a dove
The roads held my feet up
Before and after you were gone.
The rain had washed it all away,
Come september, april , may
My heart hall- filled with empty love
Before and after you were gone.
I smile each time it hurts
when the sun breaks in two
each time the rain keeps me company, and
after all has been and done.
I loved you before AND Now your gone.

Very well done. Fine Piece.
..you could very well be right about not coming here from earth - usually earthlings do not write this well - and this theory just proves one thing - there is intelligent (and sexy) life elsewhere in this universe ......you!!!!
Lovely poem!
Love this one, very lovely. Voted you up here.
